How to Create a Player Profile

1) Create a Microsoft WORD document with the player's information. The information coaches are looking for have been categorized as:

Field Hockey Background:

Athletic Background:

Academics:

Personal:

When filling out the fields, exercise some common sense. DO include what you think is a comprehensive list of your highlights in each area. DO NOT burden your profile with unnecessary minutiae. No college coach cares what your favorite movie is, or what you like on your pizza. They do care if you are an
honor roll student or if you've done a bit of local volunteer work. Be comprehensive, but concise.

Before you send your completed document, make sure that it is exactly as you want it to appear. I will cut and paste, so editing is your responsibility.

There are plenty of examples of good profiles on our web site www.capeanncoalition.com

2)Email the completed profile information to chasquinn@gmail.com along with a recent photo of the player. The photo should be a head shot similar to a school picture. Please send a digital picture or attempt to have your picture scanned as I have over 70 profiles to create. If you are unable to find someone to scan your picture you can send pictures to me via US mail and I will scan them for you. Please DO NOT include the picture inside the WORD doc. It must be sent as a separate .jpg file.

Disney Players please add the following information at the bottom of the profile.

DOB:

Player position:

School:

Hometown:

92 Bellevue Rd.

Watertown MA 02472.

Scanning tips

When scanning photos please DO NOT scan them in at the high resolution settings as file will be too large in size. The photos will still have excellent quality, even at lower resolutions. Also, please save the file as a .jpg .  Thank you for your cooperation.
